The Monterey Bay Tech Hub is a coalition of regional stakeholders who recognize the need for collective action to strengthen the opportunity for AAM-based economic growth and job creation in the Tri-County region.
Early thinking and conversations suggest the initial focus of the MB Tech Hub should encompass the following four priority focus areas:
A community that promotes innovation for technology-based companies. The collection of like-minded individuals working in various business sectors but focused on the use of technology creates a unique environment where individuals, ideas and the companies that support both can thrive. A tech hub can cover a large or small geographic area and/or focus. Initial tri-county Monterey Bay focused on AAM Tech Hub with the goal to be expansive and inclusive. Supported by the pre-existing R&D AAM ecosystem in the region.
